Costco finally lands in Casula with Orange Grove development for good measure Quote: Two major developments including Costco and a brand outlet centre at orange Grove were given the green light at Wednesday night's council meeting.

The councillors voted unanimously in favour of changing the local environment plan which will facilitate two major developments The brand outlet centre will have 63 stores and the 13,sq m wholesale Costco store will find a home at the Crossroads homemaker centre in Casula. Liverpool City Council Mayor, Ned Mannoun said Council welcomes the opportunity to facilitate major developments in Liverpool City which enhance economic growth and job creation. The decision comes after council deferred a decision on the plan at the previous meeting on November 5.

The proposed Costco development will be the second store in Sydney and will create approximately 80 construction jobs during the month construction phase.
