I've pressed F8 right before Windows logo showed up, and managed to get into "Advanced Boot Option". But there is no "Repair Your Computer" to highlight what they told me to look for. Bascially I just want to get this laptop freshly formatted to default state.

Am I getting the whole procedure wrong? Or is it just my laptop? I'ma newbie so I don't know much about how computer stuffs work. Clear explanation will be greatly appreciated.

This is NOT the way you use the reocvery partitions on a SONY. To the OP, reboot the machine and press the F10 key this will get you into the recovery partition menu.
